Another month gone, more beauty products bought. I’ve tried to be good this month, resisting the urge to splurge especially when there has been so many great beauty offers on.
One offer in particular I took full advantage of was at Boots; where you could get BOGOHP on Essie nail polishes. I got the shades: Eternal Optimist, ‘Turquoise & Caicos’ and Master Plan. ‘Eternal Optimist’ is a delicate rose shade, the perfect nude as we transition into Spring. If you prefer a brighter shade ‘Turquoise & Caicos’ would be for you, this lively green captures the true essence of the season. ‘Master Plan’ is a soft grey, which is an excellent alternative to a typical nude giving your nails that extra edge. Essie’s shade range is incredible, not only does this product apply like a dream it lasts forever on the nails without chipping.
Since getting Charlotte Tilbury’s; Luxury Eye Palette in ‘The Dolce Vita’ I haven’t been able to put it down. I’m obsessed. It really is the perfect pallet especially if you struggle to get that perfect smoky eye. The shades in the ‘The Dolce Vita’ compact are extremely wearable, transforming your look from day to night in a few simple steps. You really can’t go wrong. Shop the look here to find your perfect palette.
I bought one of MAC’s look in a box; ‘All About Nude’ which had four fantastic products in at a bargain price of £22. Considering I bought this box purposely for the lipstick, it was the ‘TechaKohl Liner’ in GraphBlack which I was most impressed with. This mechanical pencil is my go-to liner, completely trumping my Urban Decay; 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil. It glides onto the waterline and dries instantly without smudging, with a rich colour that really distinguishes the eye.
Finally, concluding this month’s favourites is the Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Brow Wizz.’ Another mechanical pencil but these pencils really are the way forward, who wants to sharpen them anyway? To get natural looking brows, simply match your brow colour to one of Anastasia amazing shades and away you go. The fine nib allows you to fill in your brows without over doing it, avoiding slug brows, and the spooly at the other end brushes through the brows for an effortless, natural look. I absolutely love the ‘Brow Wizz’ compared to Urban Decay’s ‘Brow Beater’ because the shade range is much more diverse. I find the shade Medium Brown suits my brows down to a tee.
