January Favourites.

I can’t believe I’m sat here writing my January favourites already. It doesn’t seem to long ago that Christmas drained my bank balance and I’m still just about scraping by. This month I’ve mainly been loving the Christmas gifts I received and the odd bits I treated myself to.

Liz Earle
Orange Body Wash

Earlier this month I wrote a review on a the shower game changer that was; Liz Earle’s Orange Body Wash and ever since I haven’t been able to use anything else. A little goes a long way with this product and the sweet citrus smell lingers on my skin hours after bathing. What more could you want?

Popcorn Lip Scrub

I never really rated LUSH, that was until I used their Popcorn Lip Scrub, which should be in every girls make-up bag. If I don’t use this scrub in the morning I will certainly have a bad lip day, my skin will congeal and my lipstick wont be on point. So do yourself a favour and don’t skimp on the scrub, your lips will thank you and your lipstick will look 100 times better plus when it smells so good and taste even better, why not?

Laura Mercier
Face Polish

I have been dreaming about this product ever since I tried it in Septembers Birch Box. The Laura Mercier Face Polish is definitely a luxury item that I couldn’t compromise on. I love my Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator but this polish is on another level. Only a small amount of polish is needed to massage into your face and the results are incredible, those tiny microbeads really lift dead skin and clean out those pores. Laura Mercier is always on hand to give my face the pick me up it needs and the smell is gorgeous.

Luxurious Mascara for False Lash Effect

I’ve been having a bit of an crisis with my lashes, I just don’t know what I want from them. I know I don’t want; clumpy, spidery, dry looking lashes, so I told the lovely lady in House of Fraser who whisked me off to YSL counter presenting me with ‘Mascara for False Lash Effect.’ It lifts and fans out lashes with the blackest of blacks, not to mention it smells like roses. £25 is a bit much for a mascara but all I can say is I have no complaints and my lashes have never looked so good.

What beauty treats did you indulge in during January?
