Bastille’s E.Ps were my earworms for a while in the summer, so when i found out they were supporting Two Door Cinema Club on tour, i thought brilliant. Also its always good when you know your going to love the support acts to.
After Birmingham’s own Swim Deep warmed up the crowd, the London band Bastille went on as the second support to headliners Two door cinema club. Where Swim Deep use the crowd as rocket fuel to bounce off every inch of the room. Bastille come on stage with such a presence you can’t help but move around the that beat, and be blown away. A force to be reckoned with. Kicking of with the introductory bassy beats from Bad Blood how could you not be bobbing around. Playing various tracks from the E.Ps and throwing a mash up cover of Rhythm Of The Night, mid set got the whole crowd dancing if they weren’t already. Finishing of with the single Pompeii giving you a flavor of whats to come of the debut album . It was an Stella set from the London boys, just wish it went on longer as out of the three bands who played that evening, Bastille delivery on every single level.
The debut record set to be release on 4th March.
